What is an API key?
Think of it like a password that lets LingoBudi talk to Google's AI on your behalf. It's free, takes 60 seconds to create, and you only need to do it once. Google's free tier includes ~250 messages per day — plenty for daily practice sessions. When you hit the limit, requests simply pause until midnight Pacific Time — you are never automatically charged.
Want unlimited access?
Most learners never need more than the free tier. But if you want unlimited messages, you can enable billing in Google Cloud Console. You pay Google directly for what you use — LingoBudi never charges you anything.
Choose Your Languages
Pick your native language, the language you want to learn, and your learning intensity. You can change these anytime in Settings.
